The Solution Architect is the customer’s advisor pertaining to strategy thru design of key Symmetry products and services by utilizing not only their technical expertise and knowledge but also leveraging their project management skills to come up with the best solution for the customer. This position focuses on developing strategies to best utilize investments, directing and investigating needs and providing constant and fluent information to the Client, facilitating pre-sales and sales activities, and knowledge transfer of solution to delivery and IT teams. The Solution Architect will continually work to ensure that accurate, timely, and complete information flows through the organization. They will ensure diligence in efforts to grow the specified business segment in both size and profitability

  • Participate in associated meetings
  • Product development
  • Provide information about product delivery strategies
  • Participate in rollout strategies
  • Hardware and Software comprehension of compatibility and capability
  • Keep SAP Services and Cloud Services managers abreast of new developments/concepts/ideas
  • Sales support
  • Provide timely pricing information to sales staff
  • SOW Accuracy
  • Perform pre-sales work including conference calls and prospect visits
  • Participate in Client visits
  • Provide input during Client Management strategy and design meetings
  • Marketing support
  • Promote all Symmetry products
  • Produce / Assist with creation of slide decks for presentations
  • Perform/ Assist with presentations
  • Product Delivery
  • Provide information/documentation to Sales/SAP Services / Cloud Services /Management teams
  • Pricing and SOWs
  • Project plans and hand-off documents
  • Knowledge transfer documentation as requested or assigned
  • Request SAP Services or Cloud Services support in advance of need
  • Support efforts of team providing work
  • Provide hand-off documentation for Basis and/or Cloud support
  • Ability to Explain and Support End User Requirements for technically oriented Products


  • College degree or equivalent experience preferably in Computer Science or MIS
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Technical pre-sales and/or sales
  • Sound understanding of core specified technologies
  • Solid grasp of business acumen(fundamental and advanced)
  • Proven success in SAP Consulting and/or Hosting Cloud Services
  • Demonstrated aptitude for analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to author informative documentation
  • An understanding of Symmetry business processes and philosophy
  • Prior project management experience (fundamental)
